Calcutta Chapter: Alzheimer's And Related Disorders Society of India, Care & Support For Dementia

VOLUNTEER with ARDSI Calcutta Chapter:

Your involvement as a volunteer can make a difference in the fight against Alzheimer's disease.

ARDSI Calcutta Chapter urges all those who are willing to join us and help in achieving our vision of creating a world without Alzheimer's disease while optimizing quality of life for people who are affected by Alzheimer's disease.

Whether you can spare only few hours a week or make a more significant time commitment, we hope you will consider joining this very special brigade.
There are many ways to volunteer:

Become Involved:

If you have a professional background in health care, social services, marketing, public relations, or accounting, your expertise can enhance the quality of Society programs and services.

You can help develop and/or implement events and programs such as public awareness campaigns, Helpline, support groups for individuals with early-stage Alzheimer's, care coordination, and education and training programs. To help volunteers with program implementation, the Society offer orientation and training.

Become an advocate:

Society Office - Assist in the many administrative tasks needed to keep a society running smoothly.
Executive Board - Support the Society by playing a leadership role.

The board directs the work of the Society by providing counsel on such matters as strategic and financial planning, program development, public relations, and fund-raising.

Help shape laws at the national, state, or local level by communicating Society positions to legislators and educating them about Alzheimer-related issues.

ARDSI Calcutta survives on volunteer force. We acknowledge your contribution.

For more information on volunteering call the Society office.
